The Roger Dubuis, Knights of the Round Table collection is a valiant story of fine watchmaking, exclusive métier d’art, and expressive creativity designed to reinterpret the individual stories of the legendary King Arthur and his knights.


The latest incarnation honours Arthur’s uncle, the great King Pendragon, and the mythical legend Merlin who was not only a wizard but also advisor to the throne. Folklore claims that Merlin once used his magic to lift the hexagonal stones from Northern Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway and transported them to England, Salisbury Plain where he built an immortal monument as a tribute to King Pendragon that some believe to be Stonehenge. to construct Stonehenge as a tribute to King Pendragon.


The new ‘Knights of the Round Table’ Omniscient Merlin, is a testament to not only Merlin’s magic but also the Maison’s attention to detail depicting the Giant’s Causeway in extraordinary detail, the dial showcases a complex marquetry featuring 28 blocks of genuine basalt, 9 blocks of Pink Gold, and 19 blocks of black and transparent glass. With heights ranging from 0.2mm to 3.7mm, and a vanishing point at the center, resulting is a magical impression of volume and depth.


Seated around the impressive pillars stands 12 courageous knights of 6mm height each crafted in pink gold the knights with their own individual weapons and armour are depicted in battle-ready pose’s.



To view the knights from every angle, the 45mm pink gold case has a clear sapphire ring under the bezel. The crown protector is shaped like the guard of a sword, which Merlin helped Arthur pull from the stone, while the 360° oscillating weight on the caseback is inspired by the stained-glass windows of medieval castles.

Powered by a RD821 movement, this automatic calibre contains 172 components and operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). It offers a power reserve of 48 hours. It comes with a black calfskin leather strap with a pink gold folding clasp.
