Football Escapes, the company co-founded by footballers Rio Ferdinand, Bobby Zamora and premiership football coach Sam Hubert, has launched as a full-service family tour operator. Established to provide holidaying families with world-class children’s football coaching by former Premier League players and UEFA-qualified coaches. Now, in a response to demand from existing clients, Football Escapes can organise all elements of a family’s dream holiday, from flights and transfers to football coaching and luxury accommodation, all ATOL-protected.
2020 coaches will include former England captain Rio Ferdinand, ex-Chelsea defender Ashley Cole, ex-Liverpool Striker Michael Owen and former England Lioness Rachel Yankey. Destinations will include Dubai, the Maldives, Portugal, Cyprus, Greece and China. The coaching courses are available to boys and girls aged between 5 and 15 of all abilities and take the form of two-hour daily sessions spread over a week, held at luxury hotels and resorts around the world.
Each course is led by an ex-Premier league player and supported by a great team of UEFA licensed coaches, all of whom come from renowned English Premier League clubs. Each child that enrols on the course will be provided with a full kit including; a shirt, shorts and socks, as well as a signed certificate and medal on completion of the week's course.

*February Half Term*
Jumeriah Beach Hotel, Dubai: 15th – 22nd February 2020, with Ashley Cole
Set on the shores of the Arabian Gulf and designed to emulate a breaking wave, the five-star Jumeriah Beach Hotel in Dubai is the ultimate destination for winter sun.
With over 19 gourmet restaurants to choose from, an extensive spa and facilities ranging from tennis and squash courts, to a climbing wall and an on-site PADI dive-centre, there’s plenty on offer for parents to enjoy while little ones brush up on their football skills. The Football Escapes course will be held at the hotel’s events arena and hosted by former Chelsea and England left-back, Ashley Cole, alongside a crew of UEFA-qualified coaches. Parklane Limassol, Cyprus: 4th - 12th April 2020, with Jermaine Jenas
This newly opened hotel takes design inspiration from Cypriot culture, with a focus on local history and heritage. Designed by Harrods Interiors, Parklane’s rooms and suites boast views which overlook the Troodos Mountains and the Mediterranean Sea. Families are more than welcome at Parklane and children will revel in the chance to play at the Park Kidz area, complete with a pirate ship, castle and water slide.
The Football Escapes course will be held within the grounds of the Parklane Resort and Spa's children's area, set across two pitches. The course will be led by former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder and BBC Match of The Day pundit Jermaine Jenas and a team of UEFA qualified coaches. Jermaine will share tips and advice from his Premier League days and international career, passing on his signature skills to a new generation of budding footballers!
