American fashion designer Thom Browne has unveiled a new golf capsule collection in Milan and it’s not something your atypical golfer would dare to wear on the green!
Part of Browne’s sports minded series initially kicked off with his ‘Grand Slam’ tennis collection the new golf capsule draws inspiration from the traditional golf attire of argyles, high socks, and dimpled balls and reinterprets them into today’s modern world with some very avant-garde pieces.
Tartan, light pink, blue, red, and navy tones dominate the colourway with some unusually pompom detailing, which is primarily influenced by vintage golf club covers making an appearance; pebble-grain shoes with kilt fringe and “golf tee” heels; blazers and cotton polo shirts with signature golf crests and pin flags on cardigans, leather goods and shirts all bring what was once a boring attire a very modern if not quirky look
