It seems everywhere you look there's a drone but did you know there are now wearable drones?
Yep you heard me right, Germany-based studio PEARL Creative, have created the KARLSSON Smart Companion a wearable drone that is worn just like a watch.
On the surface it looks just like any other smart watch but at the push of a button, the face transforms into a miniature drone that can be deployed in seconds
"KARLSSON consists of two elements. The basis is a minimalistic wrist strap that primarily serves as the 'landing platform' for a flight-capable smart unit. In autonomous flight mode, KARLSSON expands the possibilities of a conventional smartwatch with a multitude of new functions,"
When not in drone mode the watch has all the traditional capabilities of a smart watch like music playing and physical monitoring your fitness, however when in drone mode the KARLSSON can also perform a lot of other activities like scouting your keys, finding your lost car in a large parking, and a light source in the dark and capturing aerial images.
The watch is still only a conceptual watch at the moment but watch this space for more updates.
