Louis Vuitton premiered prototypes of a new cutting-edge fusion of technology and craft at it's recent Cruise 2020 show in New York.
Designed by Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière a variety of new styles where displayed based on Space Age themes, including a designer bag prototype equipped with two fully functional LED screens displayed through two cut out sections of the brands most iconic bag with AMOLED 1,920 x 1,440 resolution.
According to a press release, the next-gen designer handbags are said to bridge the gap between a smartphone and a "sac." Louis Vuitton have not confirmed if it made the screens in-house or if they were outsourced, or if these bags will ever make it past their prototype stage - so watch this space for more information!!
