Supercar makers Lamborghini have signed a licensing agreement with the Danish childrens’ wear specialist KABOOKI for the production and distribution of the Automobili Lamborghini kidswear collection...
The partnership, which starts with the Fall/Winter 2020 collection, is being presented in Italy, Scandinavia, Germany, Austria, the UK and the US. The collection is a dynamic top-to-toe range targeting kids from four to fourteen years. Content creation and storytelling is an important part of brand building and the aim of KABOOKI is to inspire youngsters to taste the aspirational, world-famous automotive marque through kids’ apparel.
“We are very pleased with the results of our first collection with KABOOKI, and we see our brand DNA clearly interpreted in the right way through this range. Lamborghini is a young brand and this licensing agreement is another step in our mission to be part of the kids’ world,” says Katia Bassi, Chief Marketing and Communication Officer of Automobili Lamborghini. “Our brand is for real lovers of Lamborghini, and we want this passion to start from childhood.”
“Since the design is so essential, we started searching for the right design profile. An international profile who could interpret all details from the cars into the clothes such as the iconic Y-shape, the hexagon shapes and all the small little details that all Lamborghini connoisseurs can spot immediately. Designing the first collection has been in a close cooperation with Lamborghini, and we are happy with the first reactions from the buyers so far” says Christopher Silcowitz, CEO at KABOOKI.
The Fall/Winter 2020 collection will be available in the before-mentioned markets from August and through Automobili Lamborghini official e-shop www.lamborghinistore.com.
