Pundi X, a leading name blockchain developer, has revealed a smartphone at IFA 2019 in Berlin which will allow users to switch between PundiX’s blockchain OS, decentralized services, and Android.
Officially called “Blok on Blok,” or BOB the device allows users to seamlessly switch between the blockchain mode and the Android mode. Pundi X is emphasizing that the objective is to let the user have complete control over the data he or she creates and not allow any outsider to access it.
It will also be customizable. PundiX says the phone will come with a “MOD Assembly Kit,” with detachable parts that allow buyers to modify the device’s external look.
Pundi X plan to go on pre-order in Q4 2019 at a price of $599 via Kickstarter and PundiX’s XWallet with an initial production run of 5,000 units.
