Following his win at Monza, British sports car brand McLaren have honored their aussie driver with a limited edition supercar..
Based on the McLaren 720S coupe the Daniel Ricciardo Edition will be built in the same papaya orange and burton blue paint as this season’s MCL35M F1 car, additional features include a handful of touches by McLaren’s Special Operations division with each vehicle featuring carbon-fibre sills embossed with Ricciardo’s signature, ‘One of Three’ dedication plates, '3' stickers (in reference to Ricciardo’s race number), and the Australian flag.
Under the hood the car's mechanicals will remain unchanged, with the existing 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine sending 530kW/770Nm to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission ensuring a top speed of 341km/h
Only three Daniel Ricciardo editions will be built with rpicing yet to be confirmed
