Followers of our blogs will know that we recently showcased the Lexux Luxury Sportt Yacht Concept, well now Lexus have officially unveiled plans for its first-ever luxury yacht, the LY 650
This new LY 650 picks up where the stunning Lexus Sport Yacht Concept left off with many of the features introduced in the Sport Yacht Concept having been translated into the new LY 650.
With a pronounced bow, a bridge with sinuous curves and accentuated shapes for the sides of the stern, visually the new LY 650 is stunning. Measuring a total of 65.5 feet in length, and 18.8 feet in width, the yacht comes with three staterooms, three heads (toilets), and six sleeping rooms.
Powered by a Volvo IPS 1200 marine engine, which comes as standard, along with an optional Volvo IPS 1350 motor. The yacht comes with a fuel capacity of 3,785 litres, a water capacity of 852 litres, and holding tank capacity of 643 litres.
Lexus’ Executive Vice President, Shigeki Tomoyama, says his desire is to, “present a dream-like vision of the luxury lifestyle; one where the Lexus yacht expands the potential of Lexus mobility to the ocean.”
World renowned boat builder Marquis-Larson Boat Group will construct, sell and service the vessel when it goes into production in the second half of 2019, with its global debut scheduled late next year. Specifications, prices and other details will be announced at a later date.
