Moët Impérial was born in 1869 as “Brut Impérial”, a name given in homage to the longstanding relationship between Moët & Chandon and France’s imperial family. Launched at a time when tastes began shifting from sweet to brut champagne, Moët Impérial quickly won over the most discerning palates.
