AMERICA'S MOST EXPENSIVE THANKSGIVING DINNER

We all know that preparing a fabulous Thansgiving dinner can become a little expensive, there's the turkey, the trimmings and all the little extras, but New York City’s Old Homestead Steakhouse is serving America’s most expensive Thanksgiving dinner at a whopping price tag of $181,000 ...


For the fourth year in a row Old Homestead Steakhouse situated in New York City's meat packing district will be offering festive diners the country's most expensive dish after flying in some of the world's most expensive ingredients.


The dinner which caters for a party of 12 includes: two 20 lb. free-range turkey priced at $5,800 which has been covered in edible gold flakes costing $2,000 and then seasoned with rare exotic spices from the Middle East estimated at $4,000 which is finally infused in a gravy made with a bottle of Louis XIII cognac which costs $3,650.


Then there's the trimmings which include sweet potatoes with Caspian Sea caviar which cost $1,600/oz., mashed potatoes with Swedish moose cheese $455/lb., butternut squash with black truffles, and an orange cranberry sauce made with whole cranberries infused with Grand Marnier, aged balsamic vinegar, and wine. The stuffing will be made with an imported British bread that is made with champagne rather than water, at a cost of about $125 per loaf. The seafood stuffing will also include Alaskan king crab, Maine lobster, Otoro tuna, and $1,600-per-ounce golden caviar from the Caspian Sea.


The table also includes mixed berries with a 1968 champagne sabayon cream sauce, king oysters, stuffing with Japanese Prized Wagyu beef, foie gras, and sourdough bread, and Wagyu beef lollipops with a peppercorn sauce made from special reserve Louis XII cognac .

The drink selection also comes with top notch brands and includes Cristal, Dom Perignon, Opus One and Silver Oak wines and champagnes, plus a 40-year-old port wine.


And if that's not enough in addition to the meal, the price tag also includes a few gifts and comes with: his and her iPhone 11 Pro Max smartphones, a seven-day getaway on the SeaDream Yacht; a $20,000 Black Friday shopping spree; four tickets to Super Bowl LIV with first-class flights and a stay at The Setai, Miami Beach.
