In honor of the 100th birthday of its former chairmen André Hériard Dubreuil, LOUIS XIII introduces a limited-edition Black Pearl AHD.
For the first time ever, LOUIS XIII presents an exquisite and totally unprecedented 35 cl crystal decanter. Part of the Black Pearl Collection, it contains a rare blend of LOUIS XIII cognac, signature of the cellar André Hériard Dubreuil. This edition was named after the former chairman, born 100 years ago and was produced in a numbered and limited edition of only 1498 bespoke Baccarat decanters in the color of steel. Its precious liquid is drawn from a single tierçon hidden in the family reserve, deep inside the André Hériard Dubreuil cellar, cooler, darker and damper than the other cellars.
Inspired by a flask found on the battlefield of Jarnac in 1569 and acquired by Paul-Émile Rémy Martin in 1850, this limited edition is an exquisite work of art. Only award-winning crystal-makers at the Maison Baccarat could produce an object of such refined and intricate beauty. The delicate symmetry of the lacework, the meticulous detail of the medallions with their minute pearl inlays, the pure iridescence of hand-blown crystal decorated with precious palladium plating… The LOUIS XIII BLACK PEARL AHD decanter is a pure concentrate of expertise and emotion
The dark spirit offers fresh, floral and intense earthy aromas while bringing notes of dried roses, honey, myrrh, cigar box, plum, honeysuckle, leather, figs, and passion fruit.
This spirit is rare, wonderful and worth adding to your selection of rare and exclusive spirits.
Hidden since 1960 in a cellar located at the heart of the Grollet family estate, this extremely rare tierçon was one of the oldest in the family's personal reserve.
It is said that you need fifteen thousand pearl oysters to obtain the queen of pearls.
The fruit of nature, time, work and passionate people, LOUIS XIII Black Pearl is also of true rarity, which nothing or no-one can ever reproduce.
