The proposed 1,247ft Muraba Veil building measuring just 74ft in width could become the world’s second skinnest skyscaper in the world..
In the land of ‘bigger is better’ and excess Spanish Pritzker Architecture Prize-winning studio RCR Arquitectes has unveiled designs with Dubai-based Muraba to create a super skinny Muraba Veil – a one apartment wide contemporary skyscraper in downtown Dubai
Situated in a prime canal-side location next to Dubai’s main transport artery, Sheikh Zayed Road, the 1,247-ft high, 73-storey skyscraper will feature 131 residential units of between two- to five-bedrooms each spanning just the width of the building a mere 74ft (22.5 meters).
Residents can also expect to enjoy all the finer things in life with a range of curated leisure amenities included such as a wellness spa, restaurant, art gallery, padel court, private meeting rooms, private cinema and a “dune-like” communal space at its base.
Once completed the Muraba Veil skyscraper will become the world’s second skinnest skyscrapper behind the 60ft wide 111 West 57th Street in New York.
Prices for Muraba Veil start from AED1.8 million onwards.
