As we enter into a New Year, we take a look at the Top 10 celebrity homes listed during 2020.



Celebrities such as Kelly Clarkson, who has not only crafted a stellar award-winning career but has developed a unique decorating style along with John Legend & Chrissy Teigen’s stylish Beverly Hills home, Pierce Brosnan’s Orchid House, Regis Philbin’s longtime Connecticut home, Jen & Brad’s newlywed mansion, and many more.



1. Kelly Clarkson the Home-Decorator Star!

First year American Idol winner in 2002, Kelly Clarkson has not only crafted a stellar award-winning career, but over the last 18 years her creativity has taken on a life of its own.



Built in 2018, Kelly’s almost 10,000-square-foot home is comfortably sized with many indoor and outdoor venues for entertaining groups of extended family and friends.


In 2020, Kelly decided to sell her Encino, California estate. Priced at $9.995 million, the listing agents were Chris Corkum and Lisa Brende of Compass, Los Angeles.



2. Sean Connery’s South-of-France Villa!

Sir Sean Connery, who died on Halloween, was not only one of the most famous actors of the past 50 years, in 1999 he was named the “Sexiest Man of the Century” by People magazine.

The screen’s original James Bond: smart, handsome, refined, debonair and the most popular of the nine actors who took on the classic spy role created by British naval intelligence officer Ian Fleming in 1953.


Similar to 007, who enjoyed the best food, drinks, cars and girlfriends all over the world, Connery was able to live in some of the world’s prime real estate spots. His longtime house in the South of France was recently on the market at $33.87 million.


Connery’s former home is one of the French Riviera’s prettiest and well-located villas with views overlooking Nice and the Mediterranean Sea. Adding a touch of reality to his English-spy roles, the home was used in several scenes of his Bond-movie Never Say Never Again when it was filmed in Nice and Monaco. Sited on over one acre, the home is located along a winding path at the edge of a cliff with views of the Promenade des Anglais and the Old Port and has recently sold.



3. John Legend & Chrissy Teigen’s Stylish Beverly Hills Home!

The A-List couple of singer John Legend and his model-turned-cookbook-author wife, Chrissy Teigen, have been everywhere lately making a huge splash between recording songs for John, such as his new Wild, and Chrissy’s cookbooks and associated engagements.


The busy couple have a talent for selecting exquisite real estate and their homes are routinely featured in Architectural Digest. This one is certainly no exception. Built in 1966 and brought up to the highest contemporary standard, the 8,520-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and eight baths. Special finishes and decor include mandala-patterned ceilings from Thailand, ebonized-cerused oak floors, clay-and-steel-rolled walls, onyx sinks and Italian quartz countertops.


Outside, the entertainment area includes fabulous canyon views from the pool terrace, which has a heated saltwater pool, jacuzzi, chef’s grill and wood-fired oven. A grapevine-shaded pergola is perfect for alfresco dining.


With one of the most stylish homes in Beverly Hills, they listed their beautiful home at $23.95 million, which sold almost immediately.



4. Jen & Brad’s Honeymoon Mansion!

Though not much has been said lately about the possibility of Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt getting back together again, the drop-dead-gorgeous home they bought soon after they were married in 2000 for $13.5 million, and owned together until one year after their 2005 divorce, recently sold.


Jen and Brad’s former home is nestled into a bit over an acre on a quiet cul-de-sac with gated entrances on two streets, five bedrooms and thirteen baths between the main house and a one-bedroom guest house.


Much of what exists inside and outside the house today was thanks to Jen and Brad. Soon after they bought the home, the super couple began a three-year renovation replacing the kitchen floor with heated marble, designing and installing a pub with floors sourced from a 200-year-old French château and adding a private screening room.


In 2005, their separation was announced and the home sold in 2006 for $26 million to hedge-fund-executive Jonathan Brooks, who completed the renovation and added some features of his own. Having owned the home for 14 years, Jonathan sold the home in 2020 for $32.5 million. His profit on the sale was approximately $6 million.



5. Pierce Brosnan’s Malibu Beach Orchid House!

A standout as the fifth “Bond, James Bond,” Pierce Brosnan held on to the elegant lifestyle long after his Bond tenure ended in 2002 as the owner of a stunning-and-exotic, Thai-inspired compound on 117 feet of oceanfront in Malibu.

Pierce and wife, Kelly Shaye Smith, built the almost 13,000-square-foot compound on property they purchased in 2000, then spent ten years to finish and gave it the name “Orchid House.”


The interior is comprised of five bedrooms, fourteen baths, dining with fireplace, a gourmet kitchen also with fireplace, butler’s pantry and custom wine storage. The home theater has a bar and tiered seating.


Outside is a large open deck for entertaining along with a separate living and dining area with wind breaks if needed. The pool in front of the two-story guest house is salt water, the landscaping has palm trees and perfumed tropical flowers and a path to the wide beach. It is priced at $100 million.


6. Marc Anthony's Humongous Florida Mansion!

Singer-songwriter Marc Anthony, ex-husband of JLo, purchased an unfinished waterfront mansion in Coral Gables, Florida, the home of Bacardi-heiress Hilda Maria Barcardi, for $19 million in the summer of 2018.

Known as Casa Costanera, the mansion is one of the largest homes in South Florida at 20,546 square feet of living space with 12 bedrooms and 13.5 baths.


After two years of renovations, Marc placed the property on the market at $27 million. The mansion is located near other celebrities including Pharrell Williams and JLo’s current fiancé, Alex Rodriguez.



7. Jennifer Lawrence Sells Her Gorgeous New York Penthouse!

Jennifer Lawrence has officially sold her New York City penthouse, which was originally listed at $15.45 million. Though Jennifer got her big break in NYC, her rapidly growing career has had her living mostly in her $8 million Beverly Hills gated community since 2015.

The Academy Award-winning star of The Hunger Games, Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle had her lovely penthouse on the market for over one year with occasional price cuts.


Located at the top of The Laurel, a 30-story condominium on New York’s Upper East Side, the 4,073-square-foot apartment has three bedrooms, five baths and is all one could ask for gracious entertaining including an outdoor kitchen, fireplace with pergola, built-in Ping-Pong table and amazing views of the city and Hudson River.


Jennifer’s apartment was priced at $12 million when it sold for $9.9 million in 2020.



8. Regis Philbin’s Longtime Connecticut Home!

America still mourns the loss of entertainer-and-television-host Regis Philbin with his smiling face and infectious charm. Regis brought a smile to millions of Americans who tuned into his cheerful morning-TV show, Live!, for more than 23 years.

The Philbins’ English-Manor gated mansion in Greenwich, Connecticut with 13,661 square feet, six bedrooms and nine baths is sited on 2.59 acres of expansive manicured lawns.


The Philbins listed the home in late 2019 with plans to move full time to California to be closer to their children. According to GreenwichTime.com, the home sold for $4.015 million just a few weeks before Regis died from a heart attack.



9. One More Time For Britney Spears Home!

Baby One More Time when it comes to the former Britney Spears mansion in Beverly Hills to change hands. It was the home she bought in 2007 in The Summit after her divorce from Kevin Federline, where she could find privacy in the gated-and-guarded community.

Built in 2001 and measuring in at almost 7,500 square feet, the rooms are large and airy and open to take advantage of the mild climate.


The six bedrooms and seven baths include a master suite with its own private balcony and fireplace, sumptuous bath and large paneled walk-in dressing room/closet. There is also an office, a media room and multiple entertaining venues both inside and out.


Britney sold it in 2012 at a $2 million loss. Previously on the market in 2018 at $9 million, it is now listed considerably lower at $6.499 million.



10. Elvis Presley’s Honeymoon ‘House of Tomorrow!’

Elvis was already at his peak of popularity when he picked Look magazine’s ‘House of Tomorrow’ for his and Priscilla’s blissful 1967 honeymoon.


Located in Palm Springs, the mid-century modern house is an interesting example of the contemporary style for which the city is famous. Built in 1960 with 5,000 square feet of living space, the house is built on a grade and is cantilevered in the front, offering excellent privacy for the main living areas. Created out of four circular living areas on three levels with a curved wall of stonework, it is deceivingly large and has five bedrooms and five baths.


Positioned on a bit over an acre, outside are a private garden, tennis court, orchard and a partly shaded terraced swimming pool for lounging and outdoor barbecues. Recently listed at $2.5 million, it was immediately snapped up by an unnamed buyer.
