BOARDING CALL FOR ALL FOODIES

Alain Ducasse, whose name is nearly as synonymous with French culture as the Eiffel Tower, has opened a new restaurant like no other – The floating Ducasse sur Seine.

The sleek 40 meter floating restaurant, designed by naval architect Gérard Ronzatti, was designed to harmonize with the magnificent environment and bridge the worlds of naval and terrestrial design.

Moored quayside on the right bank near the Trocadéro, at Port Debilly and across the river from the Eiffel Tower the all-electric floating restaurant, is the first new dinner cruiser to launch in Paris in more than ten years, able to accommodate up to 200-passengers for each of its 90-minute lunch and dinner cruises. Whilst dining, patrons will be able to take in some of Paris’s most famous landmarks whilst enjoying some of Ducasse’s signature cuisine of French “haute gastronomie” with a selection of menus, starting with three courses for €100, up to a special five course meal with Champagne, wines and a gift to take away for €500. In between cruises, tea and aperitifs are served quayside.
