DAY THREE PRE-SEASON ROUNDUP

Ferrari's rein at the top of the score sheet finally came to end on day three with their former development driver Daniil Kvyat taking the lead of the scoreboard placing Torro Rosso top.

With just minutes to go before the end of the practice session Kvyat baging an impressive lap time of 1.17.704 the fastest lap so far just pipping Kimi Raikkonen's lead which had stood since the morning session.

Williams finally hit the track and as expected ended the day in last place, after 23 laps George Russel posted a best time of the day of 1m 25.625s running nearly eights minutes behind the leaders.

Daniel Ricciardo put in a better days shift finishing in third place and following the two incidents from day one and two which saw him lose part of of his rear wing on day one and spin off track on day two " “I'm keen to get stuck into it to see where we can keep improving" he said having completed 80 laps the most he has completed in a single day thus far,

Last years constructor champions Mercedes still remain quite giving nothing away having ended the day in eleventh and twelfth place with the team claiming "they are focusing on maximizing laps."

Haas was plagued with annoying issues today in the form of an ignition problem, "It was electronic problems which influenced the working of the engine,” said Haas Team Principal Guenther Steiner and if that wasn’t bad enough, Haas had to deal with another issue yesterday, when Kevin Magnussen’s headrest was found to not fit properly, forcing Haas to replace him in the car with test driver Pietro Fittipaldi - The Dane will however return tomorrow
