American car auction company Barrett-Jackson situated in Scottsdale, Arizona will auction off the first 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 convertible as part of its annual Palm Beach sales event..
The first retail production built 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 3LZ Convertible puts the world on notice with its striking appearance, sound and tactile feel. The new American supercar is set apart by its beating heart - the all-new 5.5-liter LT6, the highest horsepower naturally-aspirated V-8 to hit the market in any production car, ever.
An all-new flat-plane crankshaft design entices drivers to push the tachometer to a lofty 8,600 rpm, creating 670 hp. Almost every exterior detail unique to the Z06 serves a purpose for aerodynamics, handling or cooling, with styling cues that accentuate the car's sense of motion. Designers pulled out the fenders to accommodate larger wheels and air intakes, giving the Corvette Z06 a wider, lower appearance further emphasized by a unique rear fascia that also features centered floating exhaust bezels.
This floating design was key to the precise tuning in the exhaust note. In the driver-focused cockpit, premium materials are complemented with available carbon-fiber trim that expresses the car's lightweight, track-focused mantra. Unique features include an available carbon fiber-wrapped steering wheel and shift paddles, custom leather wrapped instrument panel and doors, eight interior color options, sueded microfiber upper interior trim and GT2 seats with Napa leather and carbon-fiber trim. With 12 available exterior colors and seven interior colors (with the opportunity to create thousands of combinations), as well as seven available wheel packages, the 2023 Corvette Z06 is the most bespoke Corvette yet.
The car is offered with no reseve but be prepared to spend big as the first Z06 coupé sold for a staggering $3.6 million at Barrett Jackson’s January sale.
Included in the sale is a two-day Corvette class at Ron Fellows Performance Driving School at Spring Mountain Motor Resort in Pahrump, NV. The winning bidder also has the option to take delivery of the vehicle at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. **100% OF THE HAMMER PRICE TO BENEFIT THE THURGOOD MARSHALL COLLEGE FUND.
To register your bid the auction will take place at 4:30 P.M. EDT on Saturday April 9th 2022
